William Newsam was my great-great Uncle, as I am the great great grandaughter of Bernard, and the pictures are definitely of him- he bears a striking resemblance to my Grandad! He was indeed injured on the battlefield, and was actually rescued by his younger brother Rowland, who had also joined the RAMC alongside him.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
